The staff is super warm, friendly and informative. It would be really nice if there were more age-appropriate places for those in our community who were from 14 - 20 (in age) as.

I know it's all just to provide a sense of realism and scale.but back in my day, everybody had something to say. Maybe I'm old-fashioned. But I feel like the need for impressive 3D environments and voiceovers have sapped the life out of the Final Fantasy series. You end up with empty cities with a few corridors to walk along, instead of villages and towns of lots of different flavours, full of things to discover. I much preferred the gorgeous pre-rendered backdrops and intimate little interactions of the PS1 era games, and I wish they would try something similar in glorious 4K. (I guess I should just make that shit myself if I really want it.) I'm definitely looking forward to FFXV and I'm willing to give it a real chance. But I feel like the economics of making FF games has killed their momentum.and somewhere between their ambition and the reality of the task they just fall short.
The FFXIII era was a farce. If I was Square Enix I would consider making at least quasi-fixed-perspective backgrounds for their eventual FFVII remake.simply so they can make more locations.and dropping the voiceover requirement altogether. Edit: (and ). That's how a lot of big budget games feel to me; massive scale, full of detail and weak in substance. Yet, each time another ambitious title is announced, I'm hopeful of a leap forward in video game world building.
I haven't played the witcher 3 yet, but that game to me sounds like the example to follow. And if SE is smart this time around they will capitalize on their biggest title in the franchise yet. I think the gaming world is ready for a true smash hit Final Fantasy game again. The Witcher 3 is amazing.
It's a game built for the realities of this era. Their ambition level is just right. The single 'big city' (I played it last year, forget the name) is just absolutely jaw-dropping, and a work of art from every angle. I think what happens with FF games is the 'ambition level' has always been 'mind-blowing epic fantasy like nothing anyone has ever seen'.
Fully rendering that ambition in terms of high fidelity 3D models, animation and sound is an impossible task. They have to choose shortcuts.but in my opinion they choose the wrong shortcuts.
Man, when was the last time you visited Junon Harbor? Or the Gold Saucer? Or Balamb Garden?
Or any of the mid-size locations of the PS1 era? They are populated with tons of NPCs with funny little lines and backstories. Most NPCs could be talked to multiple times before their dialogue looped. The 'village' sized locations of that era were also packed with unique characters. It felt like a rich selection.
Remember the prison at the base of the Gold Saucer? Back then, they showed you a rich slice of a larger world. Now they try to serve you up the entire bland pie.
After beating the, you will gain access to the four main passages and the Sound Room. The Sound Room is the room where all the CD from the CD Chests go when you find them. Some of the CDs are strange or pointless, but they're still fun to listen to. If you manage to get over 10,000 points in all 18 stages, you will unlock the karaoke mode, with a special song track.
